This course concentrates on the techniques required to to create reports and perform ad hoc analysis using the Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in. Find out how to connect to Essbase databases and retrieve data into a Microsoft Excel environment for analysis purposes. Attendees will learn how to use drill downs and pivots on the members and hierarchies within an Essbase outline and create cascade reports. This course enables key users to create insightful, flexible views of data held in an Essbase database. Please note that this course covers the traditional Essbase Spreadsheet Add-In and not Smart View.
