Topics covered on this course include setting up the SmartView connection manager, member selection and using data forms for entering, calculating and processing data. You will analyse data using the ad hoc features such as pivot, drill-down, keep only and remove only.

You will also gain experience in writing functions that allow you to read, write data and retrieve dimension labels and descriptions. Using functions allows you to develop structured reports utilising SmartView and Excel functionality.
