This Blackbelt course is designed for advanced HFM System Administrators and Implementation Consultants with a solid understanding of developing rules within HFM.
This course explores the use of data dictionaries as an alternative to arrays for reduced maintenance and more efficient and faster processing. The use of UD fields is also covered to exploit HFM metadata and hierarchies to control calculation functions, removing hard coding and shifting the maintenance out of rules and into the existing dimensionality and functionality of the application. Attendees will also learn how to store calculation date and time data against an entity that is accessible from within Smart View.
This course is ideal for existing System Administrators and Implementation Consultants wishing to advance their ability to create rules for sophisticated business calculations within Hyperion Financial Management.
