Learn about the dimensionality of HFM and how to enter and view data, report Intercompany transactions and adjust data using journals. Use Process Control to promote data according to a financial review cycle and analyse data using Financial Reporting and SmartView.

In SmartView you will explore connection manager, member selection and using data forms for entering, calculating and processing data. You will also analyse data using the ad hoc features such as pivot, drill-down, keep only and remove only. You will also gain experience in writing functions that allow you to read, write data and retrieve dimension labels and descriptions. Using functions allows you to develop structured reports utilising SmartView and Excel functionality.
