Learning Objectives:
Learn how to create and manage Planning applications. In addition to exploring the hierarchical metadata, attendees will load data, establish security, design data forms, generate task lists, create calculations and gain an understanding of the planning cycle. Attendees will also learn how to perform ad hoc queries using SmartView.

Course Description:
The course addresses all aspects of system administration and ad-hoc analysis using SmartView. No prior knowledge is assumed. Topics include the setup & navigation, the creation of new applications, configuring dense and sparse settings, management of documents and tasklists, loading and extracting of data, plan types, versions, security design, process control, calculations with business rules, reporting, ad hoc spreadsheet analysis and a case study.
